Bryant is a character at np_hogwarts who is played by lenabee. Nothing you read in this journal is real and only members of NP should friend it.

History: Bryant was born the first of four children to Anthony and Marilla Sawyer near Muggle London. His younger sister Izzy is a first year, also in Gryffindor, at Hogwarts and their other two brothers (Sam, 15 and Kenny, 8) both attend Muggle schools. Bry is a good kid - though he seems to be a bit lazy. Really, he's just resigned to the life his father has mapped out for him and doesn't see the point to working towards anything else. Recently he has learned that he has yet another brother - seventh year Slytherin jeremy_pitt - who he completely despises. Mostly because he despises all Slytherins on principle, but that is entirely beside the point.

Prior to entering Hogwarts, Bry was pretty much a rich, spoiled snob. He lost that attitude during his first year at Hogwarts, though a bit of the arrogance is still there and comes through from time to time, particularly when he is dealing with people who knew him at his old school, but most of the time he is easygoing and friendly. He has his fair share of friends and acquaintances and gets on quite well with most of his classmates, even managing to play nice with most of the Slytherins from time to time.

Quidditch: Bryant has always wanted to play quidditch and he loves watching the game, but his parents have never permitted him to have a broom, so he never really became good enough at flying to try out for his house team. However, he'll cheer just as loud as anyone when Hufflepuff is beating playing the other teams.

Academics: Bryant is a horrid student. He skips class more often than not, especially now that OWLs are out of the way. He worked hard enough to do well on those mostly so his father wouldn't pull him from school altogether, but he doesn't see much point to NEWTs since he feels forced into a Muggle career after school, so he's trying to spend his last year just having fun while he still can.

Social Life: Nothing is more important to Bryant than his family. He toes the line with his father largely to protect his younger siblings from their Father's ways, to give them the choice about their futures that he doesn't have. He also has a soft spot for tristina_darcy (who he knows from their days at Muggle school together), though he rarely admits it to anyone. People who know him well (like former girlfriend and current friend hazeleyedkenzie) usually pick up on the crush pretty easily, however.

Strengths/Skills: Bryant is most gifted at Charms and a bit better than average at Transfiguration. He passed only a handful of his OWLs, managing an O in both of those subjects, E's in DADA, COMC, and Potions. He scraped by with an A in Ancient Runes and Astronomy and failed everything else. It's not that he didn't understand those other subjects. It's more that he just didn't care.

In terms of personality, he's very charming and has a great sense of humor. He's got a knack for getting into trouble, but an equal knack for talking his way out of it in most cases. Though he hates his father, he's not afraid to throw around the family name if it'll get him what he wants.

Weaknesses:He has no ambition at all, save to have fun and enjoy his youth for as long as he can. He barely pays attention in class and that's when he bothers to go, though he does seem to understand where to draw the line just enough to avoid getting into major trouble. Magically, he's not very good with Potions or DADA, though he did manage a E on both OWLs. He'd probably do much better at all his classes if he'd put forth an effort, but he'd much rather spend his time goofing off.

Personality: Bryant was born uder the sign of Leo. Positive traits include creativity, charisma, generosity, warmth, enthusiasm, a natural talent for leadership, and a great deal of inner power; negative traits are haughtiness, snobbery, an expectation that one is the centre of attention and should be waited on by everyone else, profligacy, lack of realism, dominance that can lead to bullying, and a refusal to change one's mind even in the face of solid facts.

Although this might seem like a strange sign for Hufflepuffs, Hufflepuff Leos do exist. Many become the prefects of their House when they reach the proper age, for they are good with other people, have a fine sense of initiative, and have the nobility of spirit to see that the right thing gets done at all times. They like to set a good example for others - the phrase "noblesse oblige" probably sums it up well (nobility imposes obligation). Generous to a fault, they will give everything they have (be it money, energy, or loyalty) to anyone who needs it.
